About This Recruitment

The Indian Army's Directorate General of Electronics & Mechanical Engineers (DG EME) has released a fresh notification in Employment News (20-26 December 2025 issue) for recruitment of 03 Group C civilian posts at EME Base Workshop, Udhampur in Jammu & Kashmir.​

Yeh ek 100% permanent government job hai jo Indian Army ke under civilian capacity me hai - yeh Agniveer scheme wali nahi hai. Selected candidates ko All India Transfer Liability aur Field Service Liability ke sath kisi bhi unit ya location pe posting mil sakti hai depending on organisational needs.​

Interested candidates ko offline application by ordinary post bhejni hogi - koi online process nahi hai. Last date 9 January 2026 hai, isliye jaldi apply karein!​

Post-Wise Vacancy Details

Note: Salary me DA, HRA, TA aur other allowances alag se milenge as per 7th Pay Commission norms.​

Selection Process - Kaise Hoga Selection?

Selection 5 stages me hoga:​

Important: Physical test sirf Fireman post ke liye hota hai - is 3 posts wali vacancy me physical test nahi hai.​

Written Test Pattern & Syllabus

For LDC Post:

Typing Test: Separately typing test bhi hoga jo qualifying nature ka hoga (35 wpm English ya 30 wpm Hindi).​

For Cook Post:

Skill Test: Indian cooking ka practical test hoga (qualifying).​

For MER (Fitter) Post:

Skill Test: Fitter trade ka practical skill test hoga (qualifying).​

Exam Duration: 2.5 hours (150 minutes)

Negative Marking: Har galat answer pe 0.25 marks cut honge.

Exam Mode: OMR based objective type (multiple choice questions)

Step 1: Download Application Form

• Employment News (20-26 December 2025 issue) se offline application form download karo

• Ya authorized websites se form PDF download karo

Step 2: Fill the Form Properly

• A4 size paper pe form type karke ya neat handwriting me bharo

• Ensure karo ki tumhara valid Email ID aur Aadhaar-linked Mobile Number correctly filled ho

Step 3: Attach Required Documents

• Self-attested photocopies lagao:

  • 10th/12th marksheet & certificate

  • ITI certificate (for MER post)

  • Date of Birth proof (Matriculation certificate/Municipality birth certificate)

  • Aadhaar Card (mandatory)

  • Caste certificate (SC/ST/OBC-NCL/EWS if applicable)

  • PwD certificate (if applicable - 40%+ disability)

  • Address proof (Passport/Voter ID/Ration Card/Driving License)

  • Recent passport size photograph (properly pasted)

Step 4: Prepare Self-Addressed Envelope

• Ek envelope banao jisme tumhara complete address likha ho

• Size: 10.5 cm x 23 cm

• Rs. 5/- postal stamp chipkao (admit card bhejne ke liye)

Step 5: Pack & Send by Post

• Application form + documents + self-addressed envelope ko ek bade envelope me properly seal karo

• Envelope ke top pe likhna hai: "APPLICATION FOR THE POST OF [LDC/COOK/MER]"

• Ordinary Post se bhejo (Registered Post bhi chalega, but Speed Post/Courier mat bhejana)

✅ No Re-evaluation: Scores ka re-evaluation ya re-checking nahi hoga. Appointing authority ka decision final hoga​

❌ Rejection without Intimation: Late/incomplete applications reject honge bina kisi intimation ke. Admit card bhi issue nahi hoga rejected cases me​
