The Delhi Subordinate Services Selection Board has been issuing its e-admit cards in batches up to 2026, and at the moment the emphasis is on the examinations taking place from 1 to 20 September, with a more extensive timetable running as far as 24 October for positions such as Court Attendant, Assistant Superintendent, Forest Guard, PGT, Assistant Accounts Officer, and MTS. If you're looking for 'the' DSSSB admit card link, here's an important point to note: there is not just one. The DSSSB carries out separate admit card releases for different post codes, each linked to a specific advertisement number, and making a mistake by mixing them up is the most common error that candidates are currently committing.
Why "One Admit Card" Doesn't Exist Here
The DSSSB is not holding a single common examination this cycle. The advertisement numbered 03/2026, which was issued on 29 May 2026, alone relates to 1,979 Group B and Group C positions. When you add to that the earlier advertisements which are still going through their examination stages (for example, the PRT/TGT/Special Educator cycle under Advt. 05/2025), you end up with several completely separate admit card batches being conducted at the same time — each having its own post code, its own portal link, and its own exam date.
Candidates end up confused regarding their actual exam date if they download the wrong post code admit card or if they trust a generic "click here" link which is not linked to their particular application. Before carrying out any other action, you should check your post code and advertisement number against the confirmation you received when you originally applied.

How to Download Your DSSSB Admit Card
- Go to dsssb.delhi.gov.in or dsssbonline.nic.in.
- Look up the admit card link that corresponds to your specific post code — not a general "DSSSB Admit Card 2026" link.
- Type in your Application/Registration Number and Password or your Date of Birth.
- Submit your application and your admit card will appear on the screen.
- Make sure that each and every detail—including the name, the photo, the exam date, the shift, and the centre address—matches what it was in your original application.
- Get and print at least two copies.
You can't enter the exam hall simply by having a digital version on your phone. DSSSB insists on a printed copy and an original government-issued photo ID—there are no exceptions even if the PDF on your phone looks very clear.
The Dress Code — Read This Before You Get Dressed That Morning
The DSSSB has one of the strictest dress codes of all the recruitment boards in Delhi, specifically in order to stop electronic cheating devices getting through. If you fail to comply you could end up spending time at the gate having items removed from you, or in the worst case scenario be turned away.
As for footwear, shoes must not be worn; instead, slippers or sandals with a low heel should be worn.
As for clothing, only half-sleeve shirts or kurtis may be worn; long sleeves are not allowed.
When it comes to buttons and accessories, don't choose large buttons, brooches, badges, or decorative flowers for your outfit.
For jewellery, all items must be removed prior to entering — this includes rings, earrings, nose pins, chains, necklaces, pendants, as well as hair bands and clips.
Most of the DSSSB admit cards ask you to paste a passport-sized or postcard-sized photograph on the second page before you come — for the precise size that is required, however, you should check the instructions on your particular admit card since this detail has varied slightly in recent advertisement cycles.
What You Can and Can't Change
When your centre, date, and shift have been assigned, this will be the end of the matter. The DSSSB will not accept any requests to change any of these things under any circumstances—so you should plan your travel and arrangements around the slot that has been assigned to you rather than hoping for some flexibility.
In certain recent cycles the DSSSB has permitted candidates to take the first and second pages of their e-admit card home after the invigilator has signed them, as these pages are required once more during the Document Verification process. So make sure that any pages you are allowed to take home are kept in a safe place since you will probably need them again.
If the Download Link Isn't Working
It is usual to experience heavy traffic on the portal around the day the release happens. To resolve this, clear your browser's cache, use an incognito window, or try downloading early in the morning or late in the evening when the load on the server is lower. Avoid attempting it for the first time until the evening before the exam.
